Dear Valued Clients,
At The Barber’s Philosophy, we strive to provide excellent service and ensure a smooth and efficient experience for all our clients. We understand that circumstances may arise that require appointment adjustments, and we appreciate your cooperation in adhering to our policies.
To maintain the quality of our services and accommodate all our clients, we have implemented a No Show Policy. This policy is in place to address instances where clients fail to show up for their scheduled appointments without providing adequate notice.
No Show Policy:
Appointment Confirmation: We send appointment confirmations via email, SMS, or phone call. It is the client's responsibility to confirm and remember their scheduled appointment time. All clients are responsible for providing accurate information upon booking.
Cancellation or Rescheduling: If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask for at least 6 hours' notice. This allows us to accommodate other clients who may be on our waiting list.
No Show Definition: A "No Show" is defined as any client who fails to arrive for their scheduled appointment without prior notice. If a client is more than 10 minutes late without notifying or calling in advance, this appointment will be automatically cancelled.
No Show Fee/Credit Card Hold Policy: Your card will not be charged when booking, and charges will only occur in the event of a no-show or late cancellation (within 6 hours of the appointment). The no-show/late cancellation fee is [50% of the booked service + HST]. All credit card information is securely stored and encrypted by Acuity Scheduling’s payment processor (Stripe) — we never see or store your card details directly. By booking an appointment with The Barber’s Philosophy, you agree to these terms.
Repeat Offences: Clients with repeated instances of no shows, may risk the opportunity to book appointments in the future.
Exceptional Circumstances: We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. If you have a genuine emergency or unavoidable situation, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will consider your situation on a case-by-case basis.
